Why don't you feel the seasonal breeze and cycle around Satoyama village along the Nairiku Line?
For cycling enthusiasts' happiness and local passengers' health, Akita Nairiku Line offers a free service where you can carry your bicycle directly in trains. Feel free to use the service with your friends, family, or just for yourself.
- ApplicationUp to five bicycles per train. *Reservations are required in advance.
Apply to Aniai Station one hour before boarding.
If you plan to carry more than one bicycle or use this service in the early morning, apply by the day before.
Please note that you may not be able to use the service for safety reasons when a designated train has a group reservation, or if the train is expected to be crowded. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

*Please be aware that this service is not provided at Takanosu Station due to the shared platform with JR line.
*For express trains, the service section is from Jomon-Ogata Station to Kakunodate Station.
*Passengers are responsible for all safety management regarding the bicycle.
*Do not ride but walk your bicycle when moving inside the station building, platform, and aisle.
*Do not use booth-type seats when you are with bicycle. Please follow the instructions of crews where to put the bicycle.
*Use rubber bands and securely fix bicycles to prevent accidents. Rubber bands are installed in each vehicle.
*Reservations are mandatory. You may not be able to use this service when a train is crowded for safety reasons. We appreciate your understanding.
*Train reservations can not be changed on the day. If you would like to make any changes on your reservation, please contact Aniai Station in advance.
*Unclean bicycles (with mud etc.) may be refused to be carried in the train.
*Disassembled bicycles in bicycle bags can be carried from all stations free of charge (no reservation required).
